Northern lights as seem from just south of Golden, BC on June 1st, 2025.
Do a barrel roll! The yellow sections were rolling as the aurora borealis continued on through the night.Used a small camping light nearby to take a selfie under the Northern lights. Didn’t want to soend too much time looking away so this was good enough for me!Waves in the sky as the Northern lights were really going. The beams could be seen burning up from the yellow into the purple sentinels above.The Northern lights as seen from Golden, BC. This photos shows a few strong beams cutting up through the yellow and purple.Around the peak of what I saw, the yellow showed a large ripple pattern while thick beams where wxtending through the purple. There was some out of frame to my right rippling further south, but not a lot.
